 
The Fresh Beats are graduating from music school! As they play their graduation song Reach for the Sky, Miss Piccolo comes over and tells them that they can be anything they want to be after graduation.
All the Fresh Beats, except Marina, know what they want to be. Kiki wants to be a ballerina-racecar driver. Twist wants to be a beatboxing firefighter who fights fires with grape jelly. Shout wants to be a tennis-playing conductor. But Marina doesn't know what she wants to be. Kiki, Twist, and Shout suggest a chef, a construction worker, and a surfer. But the chef's hat is so big, it covers Marina, leaving only her legs visible. The jackhammer is very shaky and goes crazy. Marina doesn't seem to be very fond of getting wet all the time when a wave splashes her.
Kiki, Twist, and Shout help their friend decide what she wants to be. She is lucky to have friends like them. As the band sings A Friend Like You, Kiki, Twist, and Shout help Marina decide what she wants to be. Marina tries a mailwoman, a cowgirl, and a scientist. But none of them are quite right for her. As Marina opens the mailbox, the mail flies out. She lassoes her friends. And the chemicals she tries splatter all around. After the song, Marina is seen in a pile of clothes and props she'd been trying earlier. Then she decides she wants to be a "Giant Smoothie" only to realize she's just thristy. Melody gives the Fresh Beats grape smoothies, and they tell her and Reed what they want to be. But then they realize one thing they didn't even think of. The Fresh Beats aren't going to be a band anymore because they'll all be in different places. That means their graduation song will be their last song they'll ever play.
But then Marina saves the band from separation; she knows what she really wants to be. She really wants to stay in the Fresh Beat Band! So Kiki, Twist, and Shout make Marina's wish come true by giving up their dreams and staying the Fresh Beat Band!
